Are you tired of being an Amazon shopper?

If you’re a frequent Amazon shopper and you want to take your shopping experience to the next level, then now’s the time to consider an Amazon Prime membership. With an Amazon Prime membership, not only can you get that monthly shipping fee waived, but you’ll also get access to exclusive deals when they become available. And with more than 20 million items in stock and free two-day shipping on millions of items no matter where they are in the country.

Amazon Prime Membership

If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can access exclusive promotions and deals only available to Prime users. You’ll also get a free trial of Amazon Music Unlimited with your Prime membership. That’s in addition to all the other perks of being a Prime member, including access to Amazon’s video library of more than 40,000 movies and TV episodes for as low as $8.99 per month.

At $14.99 per month and $139 per year, Amazon Prime is a no-brainer for anyone who shops on Amazon frequently. Even if you take advantage of only a fraction of its features, the service pays for itself in just a few months. Plus, you’ll be able to lock in those savings permanently.

How to Get an Amazon Prime Membership

If you’re ready to sign up for an Amazon Prime membership, go to the Amazon Prime signup page, sign into your existing account, or click “start your free trial” if you don’t have one yet.

You’ll need to enter your payment information and any other necessary contact information. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll get an email welcoming you to the service and providing a link so that you can confirm the information in your account.

After confirming your account, you’ll be officially enrolled in Amazon Prime, and you can start taking advantage of all the perks it offers.

Pausing Your Membership

While Amazon Prime is a fantastic service that helps you save time and money, it makes things a little complicated when planning your finances. If you’re unsure whether you’ll be able to take advantage of all the benefits an Amazon Prime membership offers, consider setting up a trial period for one or two months before committing to the membership long term.

If your membership is set to renew while you’re traveling or moving soon, consider pausing your membership until the situation resolves itself.

Ending Your Subscription

If you decide that you no longer want to take advantage of your Amazon Prime benefits, then you can cancel your membership. To do so, log in to your account, click “Your Account,” then click “Your Account Details.”

You’ll need to select the “Manage Prime Membership” option from the dropdown list and log in with your Amazon credentials. You can opt-out of the program or choose another subscription.

After you’ve finalized your cancellation, you’ll stop receiving your Amazon Prime benefits. However, if you already received a monthly Prime membership fee from Amazon and you contact the company within 60 days of the renewal date. They’ll provide a refund for those charges.

Alternatives To Amazon Prime

Depending on how you shop, other services might offer you the same benefits as Amazon Prime.

Walmart is an excellent alternative to Amazon Prime for frequent shoppers. Not only can you sign up for free two-day shipping on orders over $35, but you’ll also get access to exclusive discounts and free shipping offers on future purchases. Plus, if you’re a Walmart shopper, you can use the Savings Catcher app to scan your receipt and find out how much money Walmart can save you.

Just like Amazon Prime, Walmart has a monthly fee that gives you access to various exclusive benefits. Unlike Amazon, though, the Walmart service doesn’t provide free shipping on all orders. Instead, you’ll have to opt for free delivery on orders over $35. You can also use this service if you have a Walmart Credit Card or buy something through the store’s website.

Hive is a mobile app and online service that lets you control all your home automation devices, including lights, televisions, and more. And if you have Hive installed on your Android or iPhone device, you can use it to replace Amazon Prime while travelling.

If you don’t already have Hive, then the service’s Basic plan will cost $5 per month. With this plan, you’ll only get access to Hive’s smartphone app. If you want to use the Hive system with your entire home, then you’ll need to purchase a hub for $99. $5 a month is more expensive than Amazon Prime’s monthly fee of $4.99, but Hive offers longer free trial periods and better discounts for new customers.

Target RedCard

If you want to save even more money on your Amazon orders, then you can try Target RedCard. You’ll only get access to exclusive deals and discounts from Target, but the service doesn’t provide free shipping or any other perks that Amazon Prime offers.

However, if you’re new to the program and have a store-branded credit card, you can get free two-day shipping on any of your purchases.

If you’re looking for a different service that will help you save money every time you buy something online, then ShopRunner may be the right choice.

ShopRunner is a monthly membership that offers free two-day shipping on all purchases, including those made through Amazon. The program also gives you access to a handful of discount coupons, exclusive offers, and members-only sales and promotions at more than 20 million stores (including Target and Walmart) nationwide.

Amazon Prime gives you access to free shipping, free video streaming, and other exclusive benefits that you’ll want to take advantage of. The program is also perfect for frequent travellers who don’t want to miss out on their favorite shows or for anyone who likes to shop and save money at the same time. If you’re unsure whether Amazon Prime is right for you, set up a trial subscription before your membership expires.
